Опущение начального элемента в предложении
Довольно часто в разговорной речи может опускаться начальный компонент предложения, если он не содержит особенно важной информации.
1) В разговоре очень часто опускаются выражения there is/ are, it is/ was.

No problem. (= There is no problem). — Никаких проблем.

Not his mistake. (=It was not his mistake). — Это случилось не по его вине.

2) В разговорной речи может опускаться подлежащее, выраженное местоимением (Pronoun).(NB: местоименное подлежащее не опускается перед вспомогательными глаголами have, be, will).

Can't adapt, poor old fellow. (= He can't adapt). — Не может освоиться, бедняга.

I'll be home in an hour. (* Will be home in an hour). — Я буду дома через час.

3) Опускается также выраженное местоимением подлежащее вместе с вспомогательным глаголом (как в вопросах, так и повествовательных предложениях).

See the building next to the corner? (= Do you see the building... ). — Видишь то здание на углу?

4) В вопросе, кроме того, может опускаться только вспомогательный глагол (но обычно не в случае, когда подлежащим является I или it).

She still there? (= Is she still there?). — Она еще там?

Am I too late? (* I too late?) — Я опоздал?
